The NHREC is aware that Universities and private institutions provide programmes and courses in research ethics.  Persons enrolling for such programmes and courses are encouraged to ensure that such the programmes and courses are accredited by relevant bodies including but not limited to the Council for Higher Education (CHE), the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
